Representatives from Great Expectations were in Edmond recently to award Model School status to Cheyenne Middle School – the first middle school in the district to achieve the prestigious honor. The Great Expectations® (GE) teaching/training model is guided by six basic principles and 17 classroom practices that allow students to become self-directed learners, productive citizens and critical thinkers. Cheyenne is the seventh school in Edmond to achieve the designation.
