The Spring Break 2027 trip to New York is in the works! If you missed the parent meetings, please reach out to Mrs. Frisbie at pam.frisbie@edmondschools.net for more information. She can provide all the information you need, answer any questions you may have, and offer an opportunity to begin the registration process. Please reach out as soon as possible before the “spring pricing” changes. We look forward to a great trip with you and your student. Remember, students will participate in fundraisers to offset the cost of the trip, but you must be registered. Price increases on July 1, 2026.

Señora Mills’ classes celebrated Cinco de Mayo on May 5th by sharing authentic Mexican dishes together. Students also learned about the history and significance of the holiday while enjoying a meal as a class.

The 2026 Walk to Remember is in the books. Students had the meaningful opportunity to learn about the Oklahoma City Murrah Federal Building bombing from survivor Terri Talley, who was working at the Federal Employees Credit Union at the time.

Following this impactful experience, Cheyenne’s PTO and elective teachers hosted a fundraising festival. Students enjoyed sweet treats, participated in a basketball tournament, got their faces painted, received henna tattoos, and played a variety of games.

A portion of the proceeds raised will benefit the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum.

Our 8th grade math classes learned about financial literacy with guest speakers from Navy Federal Credit Union. Students explored important real-world topics like budgeting, writing checks, identity theft, and understanding credit scores. A big thank you to Amber and Robyn for sharing your knowledge and helping make these lessons meaningful!
