Cheyenne's 6th-graders participated in a "Book Sellers Event" on March 11th and 12th. The 6th grade Literacy students spent 9-weeks reading an individual novel. The students then created a store front to "sell" their book to the other team!

The 6th grade social called, "Get Your Glow On!" will be held in the gym on February 29th from 2:30 - 4:00 PM. Wristbands for the event will be sold during lunch Feb. 27 - 29th. The wristbands are $5 each. Come join in on the fun with inflatables, glow games, music, snacks, and raffle prizes!

Congratulations Teagan Warford for being accepted into the American Association of University Women’s Girls’ Hall of Honor! Edmond middle school teachers were tasked with nominating 7th-grade girls who exemplify strong leadership qualities. After learning more about the nominated students, the AAUW committee members then picked one girl from each middle school to honor at a reception on March 3, 2024. The honorees will then be featured in the display case in the lobby of the Edmond Public Library during the month of March – Women’s History Month.

Veterans Day was celebrated on Friday, November 10th with a reception for the veterans and their families followed by an assembly with the 8th-grade class. Army Sgt. Jacob Brewer was our special guest speaker. Cheyenne was honored to meet a WWII veteran, Harold Aldrich. He served in the U.S. Navy on the U.S.S. Gantner. Thank you to all who served!
