Welcome Back, Cheyenne Families! ❄️
Hello Cheyenne Families,
We are so excited to welcome our students back to school tomorrow after being out for the snow and ice! Our doors will open at 7:10 am, and class begins at 7:35 am.
To ensure everyone has a smooth and safe transition back to the classroom, please take note of the following important reminders:
Bus Transportation: While many neighborhoods are in great shape, some still have slick spots. Our Transportation Department will make every effort to reach all our bus stops tomorrow. We encourage you to follow your student’s bus on the route using the Transportation Tracking app. If, by chance, there are stops they cannot get to, you will receive a message from Transportation. If you are concerned about your student getting to school, you are always welcome to drop them off in the morning.
Campus Safety: While we are ready to return, there are still large piles of snow and some potentially slick spots on campus. It is important that students move slowly and with purpose once they arrive.
Walkers: If your student walks to school, please encourage them to be extra careful.
Clear Entry Paths: We have worked hard to provide a safe entry into the building, and there are many dry spots to support a clear path. Please remind your students to stay on these cleared paths and leave the snow and ice on the ground.
Layer up: The bus stop and commute will be chilly be sure to have appropriate gear for the weather.
Student IDs: All students should locate their school ID tonight and place it with their backpack. Having IDs ready helps us avoid long lines and prevents delays in getting to class on time.
Chromebook Prep: Please ensure that all Chromebooks are fully charged and ready for a full day of learning tomorrow.
Power of Presence: Power Down Personal Electronic Devices. It is time to help your brain get back into school mode. Powering down earlier tonight will ensure a better night's rest. Remember, all devices will be off and away tomorrow.
Late: We will also excuse tardies at the beginning of the school day.
Breakfast: Available 7:10-7:30 in the cafeteria or Grab and Go Breakfast 7:35-8:00 am.
We can't wait to see everyone back in the building!

Principal
